KitAid

Now in its 10th year, KitAid is a registered charity, which is run by a group of volunteers (employees, friends and family) from Three Valleys Water. The charity recycles no longer wanted football kit and works with other organisations to get the kit to some of the poorest people in the world. Your once loved shirt to be loved again by somebody just as passionate about football as you are.

"The KitAid charity has grown over the years and now:

  • Graham Taylor OBE is our Patron, we have also had the support of former footballers Les Ferdinand, Lee Sharpe and Bob Wilson.
  • we receive, pack and send out over 20,000 football kits each year. In 2007 we went truly global reaching 30 countries.
  • we’ve made it in to the Premiership, working with Liverpool FC, Everton, Man City, Arsenal FC, Fulham FC and are continuing our work with many other clubs in the football league.
  • our growing team of Regional Co-ordinators act as link points between local football clubs, schools and organisations who want to donate kit.

We’re delighted with the continued support that we’ve received from the Great Branding Company and hope that we can continue to work together to ‘make a difference’ to those far less fortunate than ourselves."

Great branding recently contributed towards ‘A Child Unheard’, a charity dedicated to establishing Centres worldwide providing safe havens, counselling and healing opportunities for young people and parents, who have suffered sometimes unspeakable adversity.

Their first centre was opened recently in Mitiyana Uganda, Great Branding designed, made and donated Tee Shirts to celebrate to celebrate the occasion and to publicise this event.

'ACU' Centres will provide safe, secure and caring environments with access to professional and trained personnel who will aid in the healing process and who will help bring a new dimension to their learning of awareness in the surrounding world. Perhaps, even more importantly, they will help develop inner healing within each individual's heart and soul.

The centres will cultivate and develop relationships with government & corporate organizations, charities and religious bodies to most efficiently utilise and share available resources. These vital Centres will be created in conjunction and in close partnership with the medical world. They will facilitate a bridging function between charities, religion and governmental agencies (NHS etc in the UK).

Link to A Child UnheardThe relationship was established through working in partnership with logistics partner D3 Direct Ltd, a Director of which founded this Charity. The close working relationship with shared visions, produced this excellent piece of cause related marketing, demonstrating how two companies working in harmony can benefit each other.
